MISSION THREE - RIMTECH CAMPAIGN

One of the structures that appear in this mission is the Outpost.  Outposts can "tight-beam" units from the surface layer to the orbit layer and vice-versa.  Take a look at the command buttons on the bottom right of the screen reading "Primary, Send , Launch and Evac."  The Primary and Send buttons need only be used when there are 3 or more Outposts on the map.  Since there are only two on this map, so far, on the surface and in orbit, you needed adjust these settings.  The Launch function is used to launch units straight up to the orbit or straight down from the orbit to the surface.  To launch units into the orbit layer, the surface Outpost must be positioned directly under an asteroid in the orbit layer.  This applies to all units except for Hovertrucks, which can be launched anywhere in orbit and hover freely across the orbit layer from asteroid to asteroid.
